A new addition to Château des Allues is Le Loft, a contemporary gîte for up to four persons, complete with kitchen, sleeping area, spacious lounge with television and a modern bathroom with stall shower. This self-catering gîte is rented by the week, and offers travelers a home base for visits to the Savoie, day trips to the mountains and a variety of activities offered in the region. A second gîte, Le Cottage, is in the planning stages and will be available soon.
Guests can enjoy day trips to vineyards or take walks in the woods if so inclined. They can also borrow bicycles at the château to explore the surrounding area. Breakfasts at the château are generous and help you to get a good beginning to your day. Dinners are gourmet experiences, prepared in a beautifully appointed kitchen and served in an elegant wood-paneled dining room accompanied by fine Savoie wines. Le Loft: Self-catering Gîte for four people rented by the week. This new contemporary gîte is € 400 per week in low season (January to the end of April), € 550 per week in mid-season (May & October except school holidays), and € 650 per week in high season (June to the end of September and school holidays).
Dinner: By advance reservation, except for Monday evenings when dinner is not served. Gourment dinners are served incorporating fresh seasonal produce from the award-winning kitchen herb and vegetable gardens. Priced at € 48 per adult, apéritif offered and wine included; € 20 for each child between the ages of 3 and 14. Restaurants are within a maximum of 15 minutes from château, and your host will be happy to make a reservation at the restaurant of your choice.
Small animals accepted if owner approves in advance and only if dogs are accompanied and on leashes in the château. Animals must have their proper vaccinations. Any damages by pets will be assessed to guests. The owner has a cat and a dog.
