Gardens  A hillside - with rhododrendrons and azaleas
tumbling down in shades of pink and purple with a touch of ivory as an
accent - shows that some of the gardens are inspired by the randomness
of nature itself. Then there is the formal sculpture garden with
immaculately designed and trimmed hedges, a fountain and smaller
plants, all in a typically French symmetry - quite calm and orderly,
yet nonetheless enjoyable.

 This garden is named la vallon des poètes (the valley of the poets), perhaps because just looking at it is inspirational! Can you imagine being there? Intense colors, complemented by the blue sky reflected in the water and combined with thoughtful design, create an environment that is absolute perfection! |
