Château
de Garrevaques is a warm and welcoming family home, and as cheerful and
inviting as these photographs indicate. If a personal touch is
what
you desire, this unique residence offers that and more. It
proudly
sits in its own 8-acre park surrounded by stately trees (including a
500-yar old oak tree) and vast
lawns.
A swimming pool is the focal point of outdoor activity and is available
for the enjoyment of château guests.
Château
de Garrevaques is occupied today by the fifteenth generation of the
family
who constructed it in 1460. It survived extensive damage during
the
French Revolution, but was rebuilt late in that century to stand today
as a beautifully decorated, tastefully restored example of the
architecture
of the period and the region. The
château offers a
five-bedroom
apartment for rent by the week, weekend or by the night.
Each
bedroom has its own private en suite bathroom, and the apartment also
has a kitchen and a spacious sitting room for relaxation. Prices
are
shown below. In addition to 8 acres of grounds for strolling, there is a tennis court and a wonderful swimming pool for everyone to use! You may be interested in a tour of Airbus Industries in Toulouse, horseback riding nearby or antique shopping in Revel, among other day trips, which your hostess can arrange for you. See below for more of the possible day trips guests of the château can enjoy. The grand family traditions of Château de Garrevaques -- combined with the beauty of the residence and gardens -- are made even more delightful by your cordial hosts who sincerely want you to find great pleasure and joy as guests on their estate. A vacation spent at Château de Garrevaques will not only introduce you to this beautiful part of France, but it will remain part of your best memories of France for years to come. |
