	Magnificent and breathtaking are the words that come to mind when you first see Château Allure du Lac, a luxurious château in the Pays de la Loire. We are so pleased to include it among our prestigious members, and you will be equally as pleased if you choose this château as the place in France to spend a week or short break with friends and family. Constructed in the 19th century, the château was extensively renovated by its current owner. Luxurious fabrics and fine antiques are part of the tasteful and elegant décor throughout the château. A dramatic entrance hall and graceful stairway lead to a first-floor mezzanine. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and guests can make themselves at home with they arrive by relaxing in the Drawing room, the Grand Salon, or on the :Lakeside terrace. The Drawing room is cozy and inviting with rich paneling, a huge fireplace and private terrace for evening drinks. The Grand Salon is elegant with the original paneled walls, large windows, French period furniture and a mirrored mantle above a carved oak fireplace. There is the opulent Silver Reception room available for hosting weddings, parties and seminars. A high-speed dumbwaiter connects the Silver Reception room's service kitchen to the main kitchen two floors below, and there is elevator access for guests on all floors. Delicious breakfasts, lunches dinners and/or, full afternoon English tea can be arranged by the proprietor. Guests are also welcome to self cater if they prefer. A kitchen with dishwasher, utensils and dishes, microwave, oven, refrigerator, stove and toaster are available for the use of guests. The fourteen en suite bedrooms can accommodate up to 28 guests and are exquisite, with luxurious fabrics, quality beds, crystal chandeliers, antiques and sophisticated color schemes. The two-story master suite with its own foyer, drawing room, and antique oak staircase leads to the spacious, circular en suite bedroom with a hand-painted domed ceiling. Four of the bedrooms can be configured to accommodate children. There are also two apartments, a two-bedroom and a three-bedroom, in a separate building only a three-minute walk from the Château. An additional ten guests can be accommodated between the two apartments at € 100 per apartment per night. A total of 38 guests can sleep comfortably on the estate between the Château and the apartments. The estate itself is spectacular with a 22-acre lake ~ perfect for fishing ~ and a beautiful island. There are over one hundred acres of gardens, lawns, woods and parkland, a sparkling swimming pool, the lake's beautiful 2.5 kilometer shoreline for leisurely walks, and so much more. 	Rooms: 14 en suite rooms in the Château sleep up to 28 guests. Queens (10) four with showers, six with tubs and showers; Doubles (4) all with showers. Prices below are for 15 guests. Each extra person is € 75 per night. An additional ten guests can be accommodated between the two apartments at €120 per apartment per night. Self-catering nightly rental rates (3-night minimum): € 1283 per night to € 2672 per night depending upon week day or weekend and season From March 1 to January 2, 2022. 3-night minimum except December 17, 2021 to January 2, 2022 when there is a 7-night minimum.. Weekly rental rates a 6-night minimum stay from € 8975 to € 12,475 depending upon the season. Separate Apartments: 2-bedroom for 4 guests and 3-bedroom for 6 guests, each for € 700 per week. Not rented independently of the château. Deposit: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking a reservation, and the balance is due two months prior to start date. The cancellation policy is that there are no refunds. Security Deposit: €2500 refundable security deposit required two months prior to arrival date. Meals: Delicious breakfasts, lunches, dinners, full English afternoon tea, and gourmet picnic baskets are offered by the proprietor. Meals are served at beautiful table settings in the dining rooms, courtyard or lakeside terrasse. Advance reservations are required. Optional services of housekeeping services can be arranged. Owner will share cost of CFAR travel insurance (Cancel For Any Reason) for amount of entire stay. Premium typically 10% of coverage amount, so 5% for traveler. Weddings: You can have an outdoor ceremony on a magical island or an indoor ceremony in a lovely chapel. The Proprietor is happy to discuss the various wedding arrangements you would like and help ensure you have the wedding of your dreams! There is a wedding fee of €45 per attendee. This is in addition to the rental fee and only covers the extra costs (e.g.,staff time, utilities, wear & tear, etc.) the Proprietor inevitably incurs when hosting a wedding as compared to a family holiday No Pets allowed.
