Comfortable and tastefully-appointed
guest rooms await you at Château de la Ballue, all with private baths
and large windows opening onto views of the dramatic gardens.
Chambre de Diane is cheerful and light, decorated with elegant fabrics
in a soft and soothing color palette. The en suite bathroom
has a tub and separate WC. Chambre Victor Hugo, above right, is richly
decorated in warm colors, has a luxurious canopy bed and is most preferred
by honeymooners. The red damask wallcoverings and Louis XV period
woodwork and fireplaces make it the perfect room for your stay at the château. |

Chambre Perse is an
elegant and sophisticated guest room on the second floor of Château
de la Ballue, and it has fine wood floors, lavish fabrics and can be either
a double or a triple room. Lovely views over the valley and terraced
gardens make this a perfect retreat. It's a very large room and is
decorated with exact reproductions of an 18th century Indian design.
There is period woodwork and a large fireplace. The bed is queen-size
and there is also a large four-poster bed, so the room can accommodate
2 or 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 or 2 children. The elegant modern
bathroom has both a tub and a shower and separate WC.

Chambre Florence
is a pretty room in shades of pale blue and lovely Louis XV woodwork and
a fireplace. This room is on the second floor of the château,
and has a splendid bathroom in the shape of a pavilion with a tub and a
separate WC. Hair dryers, towels, bathrobes, slippers and ecolabel
toiletries are provided in all the guest room en suites. |

The magnificent Suite
de France on the château's second floor consists of three rooms:
a large bedroom with a canopy bed, an entrance foyer with another bed and
a living room. It is perfectly suited for up to four people, especially
a small family with children. The en suite bathroom has a bath tub
and a shower and separate WC. The views over the gardens and the
Couesnon Valley cannot be matched.
