Courtyard and Gardens


	The Château courtyard, framed by a riot of pink roses, offers this view of the château and the Chestnuts Cottage. From the moment you enter through the stone gates, you will find yourself in awe of the beauty of the gardens, the warmth of the château and the tranquil atmosphere at Château de Bournand.
	The courtyard suites have private exterior access for the convenience of guests. The Hydrangea Suite has a four-poster bed and can accommodate additional guests using the convertible sofa. The Lavender Suite offers a room with a double bed and an en suite with a whirlpool bathtub and separate shower. See photos of these rooms on the Château Guest Rooms page.
	With a long family tradition of fine cuisine and special recipes, it is only natural that Madame d' Hueppe would have her very own important herb garden, shown here. She tells us, " We grow a wide variety of herbs such as sage, giant dill, thyme, rosemary, parsley, tarragon, fennel, celery and laurels to bring out the best flavors of our seasonal dishes".
