We can sign you up today for exciting cooking or cooking/painting workshops in an historic château on a wine estate in the beautiful Luberon not far from Aix-en-Provence and Marseille  --  guaranteed to give you a substantial introduction to the art and craft of French cuisine or improve upon your own culinary skills, and painting lessons from a professional!

In cooperation with FRANCE On Your Own, three courses are offered: 

• Cuisine Gourmand a five-day course at the château which includes preparation and enjoyment of six meals, shopping with the chef at the market in Aix, a visit to the fish market and lunch in Marseille, a wine tasting on the estate,  and enjoyable visits to a local cheese maker and oil mill including a relaxed lunch.  A total of 5 cooking classes, 3 lunches and dinners and an enjoyable time with the group for five days!  This offer is programmed for 2 people (minimum) to 8 people (maximum). €950 / person for 2 persons; €790 / person for a group of 4 to 8 people.

• Provençal Market Country Cooking Workshop, a one-day event for groups of 4 to 18 people, which includes meeting in the morning at the market in Aix, choosing local produce, returning to the château to prepare lunch, enjoying an apéritif, sitting down with your classmates to enjoy the meal you have prepared which is carefully matched to the appropriate wines.  An option visit to their wine cellars is your to enjoy! A wine pack of three bottles are offered.  €145/person for groups of 4 people; €105/person for 5-8 people; €90/person

for groups of 9 to 16 people.

NEW! Cooking & Painting Meet in Provence is a workshop designed for Lovers of Food and Art who want to discover their expertise in both.  Food and wine societies and culinary organizations are welcome.  Six day course from Monday through Saturday includes three days of cooking from 9 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon at the château only 30 minutes from Aix-en-Provence in the Luberon.  This is followed by three days of painting classes at the 'Atelier de Soleil' workshop of Monique Faillard in Aix-en-Provence (materials are supplied).  Finally, the group will enjoy a wine tasting session at the Château wine estate and a visit to their cellar.  The price includes the meals prepared in class including appropriate wines from the estate, wine tasting, ten hours of painting.  The cost is €1155 / person for 2 persons in the group and €1030 / person in groups of 3 or more.
 

Courses are taught in English (and are offered in French as well),  and individuals may join the one-day course if space is available.
