The Château

Charming and welcoming, the château is not only a wonderful vacation retreat but the perfect venue for a wedding ceremony or the celebration of an anniversary or birthday.  Lovely landscaping frames the building, its unique architecture creates wonderful photo opportunities, and its spacious rooms allow for gatherings that all will enjoy.
 

Another view shows the second tower and the interesting patterns used when the château was constructed.  Its history dates back to the 9th century when the Bishop of Verdun built a fortress on a promontory overlooking the Plaine de la Woëvre.  An American, Belle Skinner, restored the château just after World War I.
