And the dining room
is lavishly decorated with its windows overlooking the gardens ~ a great
way to begin a day on the Médoc. Each morning a delicious
continental breakfast including croissants, yogurt, fruit juice, cereal,
tea and coffee is served in this pleasant room.

For those curious
about just what and where is the château annex, this photo illustrates
how the annex (with the stairs and balcony) is part of the château.
The annex rooms are newer and more spacious than those in the château
itself, but that doesn't mean that one is better than the other.
The château rooms offer charm and history while the annex rooms provide
more space and are a few steps closer to the swimming pool accessed through
this gate. Both have modern en suite bathrooms, comfortable beds
and thoughtful décor. |
