This charming salon
welcomes guests to come in and relax - to enjoy the view or the company
of one's traveling companions. The rich fabrics covering the walls, the
19th-century walnut wainscoting and doors, and a lovely 18th-century Alsatian
fireplace combine to create a warm and comfortable lounge. Note the
Lesdiguieres-inspired portrait above the 19th-century couch. |

For a change of pace,
take yourself to this beautiful walnut-paneled music room. Once a
gathering place for a game of billiards, now a fine Pleyel piano replaces
the billiard table on a parquet floor of 19th-century elm and apple wood.
You will appreciate the stained glass windows that feature the coats of
arms of the families who lived in the château from the 17th to the
19th centuries. |

Breakfast in this
spacious Salle à Manger, the former kitchen in centuries past, will
be a marvelous start to your day. You will note the 16th-century
fireplace and decorative plaster moldings. The original sink, carved from
pink Guillestre marble, is another piece of history in this exceptional
château. |
