This large suite,  named for none other than Catherine de Médici,  offers guests a comfortable double bed, private bathroom and a soothing color palette for many relaxing and restful hours while at Château de Saint Michel de Lanès.  In the days when the castle was a rustic manor, Catherine was an occasional guest imparting her Florentine elegance and a Tuscan atomosphere that lent its influence even to the narrow streets of old Castelnaudary.   And, as you will see in the photo below, there is more to this room!

The suite is romantic and spacious, with views over the cedars in the parc.  It is comprised of a bedroom, an en suite bathroom with a Victorian bath and a shower, and the comfortable sitting room pictured here. A fireplace, warm polished parquet floors,  and a comfortable sitting area add to the ambiance of Suite Comtesse Catherine.  (When combined with Chambre Barronne Aiceline, the contiguous two bedrooms are available for 4 people.)
